This page describes how to configure archiving properties in both the Process Type and Result Type.
Admin can create and link resultype to processtype with archive properties. These properties determine how and when the process should be archived.
Archive Nomination
This field determines whether the case will be saved permenantely or deleted after a defined retention period
There are two archive nomination:
1)Save permenantely:Process will be archived and save permenantely.
2)Dispose:Process will archived and deleted after a defined retention period
Source date archive procedure
From which date should the Archive action period start? Source archive date will be calculated based on below field
Handled date: Archiving will start on the date when process is handled.
Archive Duration
After how many years the case must be destroyed in case of an archive nomination Dispose. Or after how many years should the case be transferred to another archival body with an archival nomination of save permenanetly.
To create a processtype, follow the steps mentioned on the Processtype Creation page. This page provides additional information about the newly added tab in the Process Type configuration, which includes settings related to archiving
In the Creation of New Process type page ,we have one tab ‘Archiving’.In this tab archiving, there are three sections, archive and delete linked objects, process document file conversion settings and archive fields.
1. Archive and delete linked objects:
In the first section, archive and delete linked objects, we see a switch for “Always archive/delete linked documents” which is by default Yes. This makes sure that when the process of this type is archived then its linked documents are also archived or deleted.

In the second section, Process document file conversion settings, we see a dropdown for “Document files to PDF conversion timing” which is by default has no value but its not possible to leave it empty, its mandatory.The dropdown has below three options:

In the third section, Archive fields,we can see fields required for archiving a process on the user side.User can only edit name and reorder the fields by clicking on three dots options and edit button.
