With version 2025.5 of JOIN Customer Contact, it is ensured that the customer name shown in the contact history can be made consistent.
We have no influence on manually entering a customer name.
When creating a callback note (or task), the personal data of the person being looked up is copied into the callback note (or task).
When copying the person’s name, Mr., Mrs. or Mr./Mrs. is added before the person’s name.
These additions are not transferred from the customer card to the customer field in the Contact Session Notes.
Here, the name is shown without the addition of Mr., Mrs. or Mr./Mrs..
In the contact history, however, this causes a confusing display of the customer names.
In the processed callback note, the customer name is shown with the addition of Mr., Mrs. or Mr./Mrs.. This is not the case in the other contact history.
When processing a callback note, it is now ensured that the additions of Mr., Mrs. or Mr./Mrs. are removed.
This ensures that the customer name in the contact history (when copying the customer name from the person’s detail card) can be displayed consistently.
Displaying the customer name depends on the configured Object notation.
The object notation can be found in the JKC admin at the following location:
Application settings > General settings > Object notation
The PersonDto components can be adjusted to show the name of the person/customer in JOIN Customer Contact.
The following can be used:
{ } brackets should be used as shown in the added screenshot above
Adjusting the object notation will affect the display of the customer name in the contact history that is created after the adjustment. The customer name will not be adjusted retroactively.
