To prevent users from ending a session incorrectly, two measures are being implemented in version 2025.5 of JOIN Customer Contact.
During an incoming call, the IGNEXT and END options in the contact session notes will be shown as inactive. These options are not available during the incoming call screen.
During an active phone call, the IGNEXT, PARK, END and END/BUSY options (when available) will display a message when used.
The message indicates that the session cannot be terminated during the active phone call.
The message can be dismissed by clicking the OK button.
After the phone call is completed, the options can be used again.
