With version 2025.5 of JOIN Customer Contact, the option to handle outstanding callback notes in bulk on behalf of the assigned handler is added.
The option to handle in bulk is only available to users with rights to handle in bulk.
From the open tasks, Bulk Process can be selected from the dropdown menu.
The option Handle on behalf of assigned practitioner is now shown in the bulk handling screen.
By default, the option Handle on behalf of assigned practitioner is NOT checked.
When checking the box for Handle on behalf of assigned practitioner, callback notes will be handled under the name of the practitioner to whom the callback note is (at that time) assigned.
In the contact history and reports, the practitioner who was the practitioner at the time of bulk handling will still be shown with the handled callback note.
Use this option if it is not desirable for the callback notes to be handled on behalf of the user who is doing the bulk handling.
Important
Callback notes that are assigned to a Mailbox or Department at the time of bulk handling will be handled under the name of the user. For these callback notes, no handler is known yet.
If NOT the checkbox for Handle on behalf of assigned handler is checked, callback notes will be handled under the name of the user who performed the bulk handling action.
In the contact history and reports, the user who performed the bulk handling action will be shown with the handled callback note.
